Winplay3 v1.40: The first shareware version of Winplay3 which replaced the freeware v1.30. The same registration codes still work. It has a slightly different appearance from v2.x and displays the current frame# while playing. wpv140.exe
l3enc v2.00 for DOS This version of l3enc allows you to choose from more datarates than other 2.x releases. You can decide to use intensity, joint-stereo or dual mono encoding for your stereo files. l3enc v2.61 A very widely used encoder - it was around when the mp3 explosion began.
l3enc v2.72 Version 2.70 added a speech flag which helps optimize the coder for speech and some intermediate datarates were introduced. v2.72 fixes a bug which produced corrupted files and eliminated buffer problems while encoding files at 256kbit/s.
