Sound System Trailers - audio only

Stuff a description here later, eh?
The files below were encoded to the highest quality standards. All of the variable bitrate files (look for the 'v') are done with LAME, the best mp3 encoder, using the new --alt-preset settings which have been optimized for maximum audio quality.
mp3 information

Dolby Digital | THX | DTS & SDDS

IS - Intensity Stereo, JS - Joint Stereo, S - Stereo, DC - Dual Channel, SC - Single Channel (mono)

Dolby Digital

The highest quality Dolby Pro-Logic/Pro-Logic II compatible downmixes of the 5.1 trailers. They retain much of the impact of the discrete multi-channel recordings when played back on the proper equipment. Dolby offers a DVD with all of these, plus the newest 'game' trailer (no Surround EX 'waterfall', though).

[2002.01.11] One of, if not the first, DD trailer. I remember seeing it in a local theatre (before a remodel and expansion) years ago.

DTS and SDDS

I will be adding the DTS trailers once I can convince graphedit to link my filereader to my DTS decoder. Maybe I can just record the PCM stream from the coaxial out.....

There is only one SDDS trailer I know of, and I've only seen it once. Since SDDS is not a consumer format there is not much chance to see it. This is a descent quality 2ch version of the SDDS trailer (which is an 8 channel master).

[2002.01.10] The relatively rare SDDS audio trailer. I'll try and find a better copy - do you have a good PCM version? Anyone work at a theatre in Orlando? LMK
